Doris Turner Shiver

Doris Turner Shiver ,83, of Leesburg, GA, formerly Albany, GA passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at Beattie Road Church of Christ. Ministers Paul Montandon and Rod Barrett will officiate. Private interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Doris was born in Gibson, TN. to William Clinton Turner and Maggie M, Wright Turner. She was a retired administrative secretary retiring from Crawford and Son Oil Company. She was a member of the Beattie Road Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by, brothers, Billy Gene Turner, Major William "Bill" Turner, and her  husband, Donald Wesley Shiver.

Survivors include her son, Clint Shiver (Kelly), Leesburg, GA, daughter, Susan Shiver Stewart, Albany, GA, siblings, Gloria T. Meredith (Larry), Sommerville. TN, Evelyn Corvin, FL, Helen Durham, Tampa, FL and Robert Turner, FL and two grandsons, Wesley Shiver and Rilee Shiver both of Leesburg, GA. 

The family will receive friends following the services at the church.
