Doris L. Hill

Doris L. Hill, 84, of Albany, GA, died January 27, 2016 at Pruitt Health Palmyra. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Mrs. Hill will be interred at Andersonville National Cemetery beside her husband.

A native of Americus, GA, born to the late James William Cooper and Ruby Lee Cooper, Mrs. Hill graduated from Americus High School. She was a Military wife, homemaker and moved to Albany, GA form Augusta, GA in 1965. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hill and a brother, Clarence Cooper.

Survivors include three sons, Carl Hill and his wife, Cyles of Albany, GA, Richard Hill and his wife, Cheryl of Lee County, GA and Jerry Hill of Albany, GA, her grandchildren, Kristina Hill of Albany, GA, Jason Hill and his wife, Tori, Holly Wingate and her husband, Matt and Brandon Hill all of Leesburg, GA, her great-grandchildren, Nicholas Wingate, Eli Hill, Ellie Hill all of Leesburg, GA and her siblings, Fulton Cooper and his wife, Marie of Marietta, GA and Frances Sevy and her husband, Jerry of Americus, GA.

The family will receive friends following the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
