Doris Powell Dollar

Doris Evelyn Dollar passed from this life to her eternal home with the Lord at Crisp Regional Center on Thursday, September 26, 2019.

Born on November 23, 1924, she was the daughter of the late James Clinton Powell and Ila Mae McDonald Powell. She was predeceased by her husband, J.C. Dollar and sons, Jimmy and Gerald Dollar, brothers, Orus Powell, James Gordon Powell, Idus Hilton Powell, and a sister, Nadine Chambers.

Mrs. Dollar is survived by her son David Dollar (Pam) and daughters, Mary Hartley and Carol Lewis (Larry), six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Mathews Funeral Home, Albany, GA, Saturday, September 28th, 2019, from 10:00 until 11:00 am followed by funeral service at 11:00. Rev. Chris Minshew will officiate. Burial will be at 3:00 pm at Providence Cemetery, 3835 Hwy 313 N, Sylvester, GA 31791. Rev. John Evans will officiate.

The family wishes to thank all the caregivers at Crisp Regional Center for their kindness and love shown to our mother and her family.
