Donna Renee Tison

Donna Rogers Tison, 43, of Sylvester, GA, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 in Statesboro, GA. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Minister of Lee County Church of Christ Eddie Garcia, will officiate.

Born in Elba, AL, Donna was raised in Sylvester, GA, and graduated from Worth County High School in 1990. She enjoyed music and playing in the band. Donna was with the Department of Family and Children Services as a collection enforcement officer. Donna had a great love for her family, children and animals. She was a member of Lee County Church of Christ. Donna was preceded in death by her first husband Larry Strickland.

Survivors include her husband Terry Tison, her children Bo Rogers of Statesboro, GA, Harli Rogers of Sylvester, GA, her parents Donald and Judy Rogers of Sylvester, GA, step children Terry Tison, Jr. of N.C., Tiffany Tison of AK, a sister Barbie (Richard) Stone of Sylvester, GA, and two nephews Ricky (Jessica) Stone of Lilburn, GA and Greg (Amber) Stone of Sylvester, GA, and two great-neices Isabella Stone of Lilburn, GA and Cassidy Stone of Sylvester, GA.

In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the Lee County Church of Christ.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
