Donna Clardy Steen

Mrs. Donna Jean Clardy Steen, 62, of Albany passed away peacefully, Monday, April 1, 2013 at Willson Hospice House, with her family at her side.

Donna was born on December 20th, 1950 in Valdosta, GA to Jeffie M. and Walter B. Clardy. Residing in Orlando, FL, Waterloo, IA and Albany, GA throughout her entire life. Baptist by faith, she belonged to Central Baptist Church, Albany, GA. Donna was formerly employed as a Radiologic Technologist and Cat Scan Technician at both Phoebe and Palmyra Hospitals.

She is survived by her husband, Craig of 39 years. They have 2 sons, Cameron (Jenni) Steen of Rome, GA, Andrew Steen of Atlanta, GA and a daughter, Molly (Christopher) Johnson of Albany, GA. Three grandchildren, Delaney and Ryland Steen of Rome, GA and Brian Johnson of Maryville, Tennessee. Surviving siblings include Bebe (Eddie) Sutton and Blanche (Raymond) Akridge of Albany, GA and Katherine Scott, of Orange City, FL.

Donna is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Ball, Tallahassee, FL and two sisters, Vondell Custer, Yulee, FL and Joyce Mullendore, Fernandina Beach, FL.
Services will be held at Central Baptist Church, 1618 West 3rd Ave, Albany on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 1:00 PM, with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be at Mathews Funeral Home, 3206 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA on Wednesday Evening, April 3, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
