Donna Etheridge Griffin

Donna E. Griffin, age 48, of Norcross, Georgia, formerly of Albany, Georgia, died on Friday, June 7, 2013 from an apparent heart attack. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 10, 2013, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel in Snellville, Georgia.A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at Floral Memory Gardens in Albany with Rev. Bobby Moye officiating.

Donna was born in Albany, Georgia, on November 12, 1964 and was a graduate of Riverview Academy. She was a Sales Representative for Arlington Industries with over 15 years of service and had previously been associated with Anchor Wire & Rope for 18 years. Donna enjoyed listening to country music and gardening. Her greatest joy in life was her son Benton and being in the company of her family and friends. Donna will be missed for her warm smile and kindness to others.

She is survived by her brother & sister-in-law, Wilbon & Karen Etheridge; mother & step-father, Jimmie & Lynn Goode; three nieces; aunts and uncles, Winnie & Buddy Beamon, Denise Bell, Jon Richardson, Joyce & Wallace Turner, and Linda & Dave Johnson; three great aunts, many cousins, and a host of friends. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Wilbon Etheridge; grandparents, Verna & Lester Etheridge, Mary Jackson, and Warren Richardson.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.
