Donald McGowan

Donald Scott McGowan, 62, of Albany, GA died Monday, March 22, 2021 at his residence. A Life Celebration will be held at his home on his birthday, September 23, 2021. Scott was born in Elizabeth City, NC to Roy and Diane McGowan. During his welding career he worked for Addison Steele, CA Brown Construction, Scuff Steele, and retired from Procter & Gamble after 30 years. He loved the Florida Gators, enjoyed racing and building go-karts. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy C. McGowan and brother, Roy C. McGowan, II. Survivors include his wife, Crystal Bodiford, his daughter, Rosalyn “Dee” McGowan Eidson, and son, Anthony (Jenny) Cabral, mother, Diane “Charlie” McGowan, grandchildren, Caswell Eidson, Ridley Eidson, Hunter Cabral, and Hannah Cabral, and his sidekick, Lola.
