Dixie Millissa Simon

Dixie Milissa Simon, 84 of Albany, GA died Friday, December 7, 2012 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Harrell will officiate.

A native of Macon, GA, Mrs. Simon had resided in Albany since 1967 coming from Virginia Beach, VA. She was a waitress for over sixty years, had been employed with the Hasty House Restaurants for over twenty years, the Salvation Army and most recently Country Crossing Restaurant . Mrs. Simon was a member of Central Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a son, Terry Lee Simon.

Survivors include her son, Fred Simon and his wife, Leisa of Albany, GA, two grandchildren, Tonya Renae Hormilla and her husband, Robert of Panama City Beach, FL and Ali Kandas Simon (Steven Ray) of Albany, GA and two great-grandchildren, Jordan Renae Hormilla and Gage Hormilla.

The family will receive friends following the service at Crown Hill Cemetery.
