Diane Burt Johnson

Diane Burt Johnson, 64, of Albany, GA, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at First Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Billy D. Hanna and Rev. Bobby Joe Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Born in Cairo, GA, Mrs. Johnson has resided in Albany, GA since 1964. She was a homemaker and self-employed cosmetologist and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church where she had been active in teaching children's Sunday School, the K & K Sunday School Class and the Hospitality Committee. She was preceded in death by her parents, T.W. Burt and Dorothy Anderson Burt.

Survivors include her husband, Richard B. Johnson of Albany, GA, a daughter and her husband, Shelby and Brent Langley of Leesburg, GA, two grandchildren, Katie Langley and Blaine Langley, a sister, Brenda C. and Donald Smith of Gainesville, GA, three brothers and their wives, Fred and Judy Burt of Baconton, GA, Wendell and Lisa Burt, Tony and Tammy Burt all of Leesburg, GA, and her stepmother, Carolyn E. Burt, of Sasser, GA.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at First Free Will Baptist Church Sanctuary.
