Diana "Diane" Lynn Windham

Diane Lynn Windham, 72, of Lilburn, GA formerly of Albany, GA died Monday, February 20, 2023 at Emory Decatur Hospital.

Her graveside service will be 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Leesburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.

Born in Greenwood, MS, Diane moved to Albany when her father was stationed here, and she graduated from Albany High School. Diane moved to the Atlanta area 15 years ago to help care for her sister. She worked for Pro Shocks, loved to play softball and Texas Holdem, and she was a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan. 

She is survived by her friend and companion, Elaine Rutledge of Lilburn, GA, her sister, Debbie Minor (Stanley) of Leesburg, GA, her nieces Lucretia Reynolds, Kristy Payne, and Kelli Sexton, her nephew, Mark Smith (Mandy), 10 great nieces and nephews, and 3 great great nieces and nephews. 

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Lauretta Strickland, her father, Julius Drew Windham, her sister, Donna Sue Windham-Whitehead, and her brother Donald Drew (Don) Windham.
