Dennis Lynwood Wade

Dennis Lynwood Wade, 72, of Albany, GA, died Monday, March 30, 2015 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Albany, GA. Dr. William E. (Butch) Knight and Rev. Bruce English will officiate. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Traveler's Rest Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Baker Co., GA.

Born in Newton, GA on October 5, 1942 to the late Charlie Dennis Wade and Retha Collins Wade, Mr. Wade had resided in Albany, GA a number of years moving from Americus, GA. He was retired from Delta Life Insurance Company after many years of service and was a member of The First Baptist Church of Albany, GA. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ocie Jane Wade and Betty Inez Koop. He was a loving husband and father for fifty five years.

Mr. Wade's memories will be cherished by his wife, Nancy Ann Wade, Albany, GA, two sons, Kenneth Lynn Wade (Theresa) and Marvin Dennis Wade (Sonya) all of Albany, GA, two daughters, Terri Wade Castleberry (Chris), Albany, GA, ,Lisa Wade Bragg (Mike), Fremont, CA, two sisters, Charlie Mae Smith (Danny), Albany, GA, Mary Elizabeth Harbuck (Frank), Preston, GA, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home." He is resting in peace awaiting the Lord's Coming."
