Dell Spring

Mrs. Dell Elizabeth Spring, 65 of Leesburg, GA. Died October 2, 2021 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg, GA. Rev. Matt Stone will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. 3206 Gillionville Rd., Albany, GA 31721.

Mrs. Spring was born January 29, 1956 in Dawson, GA, daughter of the late Horace Hampton Cooper and Adele Trotter Cooper. She was a homemaker and previously worked as a Bus Driver and School Crossing Guard. Other than her parents she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Billy Cooper, David Cooper, Ray Cooper and Nancy Norrell.

She is survived by her daughter Hyla Marie Spring of Leesburg, GA, her brothers Melvin Cooper (Shirley), Leesburg, GA and James Cooper (Charlotte), of Yatesville, GA., three grandchildren Megan Whitehead, Albany, GA. Trey Clements, Cordele, GA and Ally Smith, Leesburg, GA., three great-grandchildren Kearstin Whitehead, Olivia Whitehead and Tessa Taylor.
