Deidri Ann Koster

Deidri Ann Koster (nee Blaylock) died peacefully at home on January 20, 2016 in Albany, GA at the age of 82.

Deidri is survived by children: Karen Koster Payne (Bill), grandchildren Beau (Betsy) and Lauren Payne and great granddaughter Bonnie Payne; Leah Koster Ver Steeg (Glenn), grandchildren Ashley and Paul Ver Steeg; Keith Koster, children Clay, Colie and Claire Koster and Paul Koster (Sherry), grandchildren Hunter and Gage Koster; sister Patricia Blaylock Curry (Hank). She is preceded in death by husband Robert Clay Koster and parents Erwin and Marie Blaylock.

Deidri was born on December 11, 1933 in Kennedy, AL to Erwin and Marie Blaylock. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 1956 with a master's degree in home economics. She married Robert Clay Koster in 1956. After moving to Perry, FL, the couple welcomed 4 children into their home.

She was an active and dedicated member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church for nearly 40 years.
A funeral is scheduled for Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The visitation will be at the church at 10:00 AM preceding the service. Dr. William D. (Biff) Coker will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Deidri's life.
