Deborah K. Armstrong

Debbie Kay Armstrong, 57, of Lee County passed away Friday, June 09, 2017 at her residence. The family will hold a private memorial service later this week.

In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorials to Albany Community Hospice, 320 Foundation Lane Albany, GA 31707.

Born in Santa Ana, CA, Debbie moved to Albany in 1977.She was a long time employee of Engineering & Equipment Company and later opened the Albany branch of Consolidated Pipe and Supply. She was devoted to her work and was a conscientious employee. Debbie enjoyed working in her flower beds and yard. She loved all types of animals and greatly enjoyed her two bulldogs. She loved her family immensely, especially her children and grandchildren. She had a heart of gold and everyone who knew Debbie loved her.

Survivors include her husband Mark Armstrong, her children Eric Armstrong, Owen Nesbitt and his wife Amanda, and Brandi Nesbitt, her parents Arron and Jackie Lockyer all of Lee County, two brothers Steven Lockyer of Inverness, FL, and Tom Lockyer of Grand Junction, CO, father and mother in laws Noel and Annette Armstrong of Albany, GA, a brother in law Kevin Armstrong of Albany, GA, and two grandchildren William and Grayson Nesbitt of Lee County.
