David Randolph York

David Randolph York, 60, of Leesburg, GA died Monday, March 10, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Andersonville National Cemetery with military honors. Pastor Juno Douglas will officiate.

Born in Dothan, AL, Mr. York had resided in Albany, GA since he was a child before moving to Grand Ridge, FL and returning to Leesburg, GA two years ago. He was a graduate of Albany High School, a veteran of the Viet Nam War serving in the Air Force and a truck driver with AAA Cooper.
He was a member of the Sneads Assembly of God in Sneads, FL and was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Parrish York.

Survivors include his girlfriend, Kelly Royal, Leesburg, GA, a son, Buddy York (Robbie), Leesburg, GA, two daughters, Erica York Gass (Randolph), Cumming, GA, Marlee York, Sneads, FL, his father, Kara York, Albany, GA, three sisters, Bettie Etheredge (Bill), Leesburg, GA, Eddie Mitchell (David), Panama City Beach, FL, Patricia Cannon, (Rev. Joey Cannon), Oglethorpe, GA, four grandchildren, Jeffery Spillers, Temple, GA, Garrett David York, Lincoln, NE, Caleb Thomas York, Sioux Falls, S. DAK and Brianna Kim York, Leesburg, GA.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
