David Allen (Little Dave) Wren

David Allen (Little Dave) Wren, Jr., 26, of both Leesburg, GA and Athens, GA died Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in a motor vehicle accident. Memorial services will be conducted Monday, Nov. 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Burke Wren will officiate.
Born in Albany, GA, Little Dave lived in Lee County and attended Lee County schools. He attended Gainesville State College and attended Athens Church. Little Dave loved sports, especially his Georgia Bulldawgs and Atlanta Falcons. Little Dave was loved by his family and friends. Those who knew him enjoyed his quick wit and good humor as well as his love for animals, especially his dog Buzz and his cat Boozie.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary English Wren, Tommy Butler and Henry F. Wren.
Survivors include a son, Caiden James, Athens, GA, his parents, Dr. David A. Wren, Sr. and Vicki Butler Wren, two sisters, Haylee Wren and Lyndsey Wren and his maternal grandmother, Helen Butler all of Leesburg, GA.
The family will receive friends and have a Farewell Tailgate Celebration/Visitation in memory of Little Dave on Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at 140 Pebble Ridge Dr., Leesburg, GA, 31763.
