David Lemar Smith

David L. Smith, 60, of Lee Co., GA died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny White will officiate.

Born in Eastman, GA, Mr. Smith had resided in both Albany, GA and Lee Co., GA since 1967. He was retired from Georgia Pacific and was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Smith and Betty Mullis Smith, a brother, Earl Smith, a sister, Ann Bradshaw and a granddaughter Khloe Bailey.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Diane Bence Smith, two sons, David Michael (Cotton) Smith (Lauren), Matt Scott Smith, a daughter, Keri Lois Scott (Kevin) all of Lee Co., GA, a sister, Mary Jane Porter, Albany, GA and eight grandchildren, Blaine, Casey, Cameron, Wesley, Kailyn, Ava, Kolton and Tatum.
