David B. Rusich

David Bruce Rusich, Sr., 84, of Edison, GA, died Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at 3:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery in Arlington, GA. Rev. Tom Howard will officiate.

Born in North Stonington, CT, David joined the Air Force after high school and served four years. He later joined the Albany Fire Department and retired after 30 years of service. David was a hard worker who loved his family and was always loyal to his friends. He had a great sense of humor and loved to have a good time. David's favorite hobbies include hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his children Carla M. Eldridge of Jackson, TN, David (Katrina) Rusich, Jr., of Edison, GA, Grandchildren Shealin Eldridge of Ashville, N.C., Barry (Whitney) Hall of Leesburg, GA, Jeremy Clark and Brandon Clark both of Albany, GA, and Beth Clark of Edison, GA, three great grandchildren and several extended family members. David was preceded in death by his wife Charlene Rusich.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
