David Alan Knaak

David Alan Knaak, 52, of Cobb, GA died Monday October 20, 2014 at his residence in Cobb. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Leesburg Cemetery. Rev. Charles Jones and Glenn West will officiate.

David was born on July 31, 1962, in Quincy, CA, where he grew up and went to school. He remained in the Western United States before moving to Georgia, and finally to Cobb four years ago. David was employed with Coastal Interiors of Savannah. He spent most of his career in construction and was known for his strong work ethic. David became a Christian as an adult, and enjoyed studying the Bible.

Survivors include his mother Cheryl A. Knaak ; his father, Calvin O. Knaak; a nephew, Thomas Casey Jones; aunts and uncles, Edie and Glenn West, Laurie and Gary West, Theda Knaak and Phyllis Knaak and a co-worker and good friend James Parkerson. David was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Lynn Jones.
