David Glenn Ellis

David Glenn Ellis, 46, of Albany, GA died Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Born in Albany, GA, Glenn was a life-long resident and attended the Dougherty Co. Schools. Glenn had a great love of his family, his ARC family, telephones, and, most especially, Santa Claus. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Max Ellis and was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his mother, Bobbie Jean Ellis, a sister Cindy Granahan and her husband, Eric all of Albany, GA.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home.

The family is at the residence of Eric and Cindy Granahan, 2301 Wallington Dr., Albany, GA, 31721.
