Darlene Adcock

Darlene McDuffie Adcock, 56, of Albany, GA, passed away July 9, 2019 at her residence. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bruce English will officiate. 

Darlene was born April 22, 1963 in Orlando, FL, to Marshall McDuffie and Peggy Schmidt McDuffie. They moved to Albany, GA around 1965. She attended Dougherty High, and was employed at Phoebe in the laboratory until 1992 when she had her first and only child. 

She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, grandmama, and friend. Her whole world revolved around her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy McDuffie. 

Survivors include her daughter Kea Adcock and her fiancée Jason Blanchard of Albany, GA, father Marshall McDuffie of Albany, GA, a sister Marlene (Tim) Harris of Sylvania, GA, two brothers Michael (Debi) McDuffie of CA, and Dwayne (Elsa) McDuffie of Albany, GA, a granddaughter Kailani Blanchard of Albany, GA, nieces Sabrina (Brandon) More and Destinie More both of Leesburg, GA, and nephews Jacob Harris of Statesboro, GA, Caleb Harris of Sylvania, GA, Brandon More and Jason McDuffie both of Leesburg, GA

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
