Danny J. Hatcher

Danny J. Hatcher, 68, of Albany, GA, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 at Willson Hospice House. Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Pastor Brother Rickey Griner will officiate.

Mr. Hatcher was born in Albany, GA, and had resided here his entire life. Danny was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was owner/ operator of Nice Cars, a car wholesale company. Mr. Hatcher was a past member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. He was of the Baptist Faith and a Member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter Christy Lamm and her husband Matt of Carbondale, CO., son Geoffrey Hatcher of Lee County, GA, one granddaughter Hanna Lamm also of Carbondale, CO., his mother Myrtle Wiggins Hatcher of Sumner, GA., three sisters JoAnn Holton and husband Jimmy of Sumner, GA., Kay Watson and husband Buster of Baconton, GA, and Rhonda Hayes and husband Al of Donalsonville, GA.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
