Daniel William Roberts, 71, of Lee Co., GA died Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 10 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Chancellor and Rev. Mike Lawson will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Born in Alma, GA, Mr. Roberts had resided in Lee Co., GA since 1980 moving from Hazlehurst, GA and was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Army. He was employed with Georgia Industrial Supply of Albany, GA. "Danny" was a member and avid golfer at River Pointe Golf Club and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Albany, GA and was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Ella Maurine Roberts, and brothers Freddy Roberts and Dr. Terry Roberts all of Hazlehurst, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Yawn Roberts, daughter Danie'l Roberts, son, Grayson Roberts (Jennifer) all of Lee Co., GA.; brother, Lonnie Roberts (Gina) Hazlehurst, GA, sister, LeeAnn Roberts, Glennville, GA and six grandchildren, Jamie Walloch, Ashlyn Walloch, MaryGrayce Roberts, Colton Walloch, Lauren Roberts and Ella Mainland.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
