Lynn Hyman, 73, of Albany, GA, died Friday, July 29, 2022 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Companion graveside funeral services for Lynn and Jack Carnes will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Josh and Brynn Copron will officiate. Lynn and Jack have been sister and brother-in-law for thirty-eight years.
Lynn was born in Albany, GA on October 25, 1948 to John Franklin and Pauline Chatman McDea rmid. She grew up in Albany and graduated from Albany High School in 1966. She graduated from Albany Technical College with a Degree in Cosmetology. Along with her sister, she owned and operated Reflection’s Skin Care Salon and Boutique before working at the Veranda and Parlor.
Lynn was a member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church, was known for her wonderful personality, she was full of life, and good humor. Lynn loved her family and loved Marc and his family.
Survivors include her partner, Marc Matre of Albany, GA, her son, Chip Hyman (Kim Maddox) of Monroe, GA, a sister, Kay Carnes of Albany, GA and two grandchildren, Chandler Hyman and Emily Hyman, and special thanks to her caregiver, Linda Kicklighter.
