Cynthia Viola Lafrenz

Cynthia V. “Cindy” Lafrenz, 61, of Albany, GA, died May 7, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. John Monroe and Rev. Charles Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Interment will be held at Andersonville National Cemetery.

Cindy was born in Coral Gables, FL on June 1, 1957 to the late William and Margaret Walker. She grew up in Albany, GA and married Ken Lafrenz. She was a military wife and traveled to and lived at numerous stations. Cindy was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church and had previously worked at Suwanee Swifty Stores and Bell South.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth “Ken” Lafrenz and her son, Raymond Lafrenz both of Albany, GA, two brothers, Steven (Jodi) Walker of Columbia, SC and Thomas “Tom” (Sue) Walker of Elkhart, IN, two nieces, Charlotte Walker of Burnsville, MN and Kayla Walker of Fairfield, CA, a nephew, Robert Walker of Minneapolis, MN and a God Sister, Cathy Deltoro of Miami, FL, and numerous of nieces and nephews.
