Cynthia "Cindy" Lillis Collins

Cynthia “Cindy” Lillis Collins, 56, of Albany, GA, died May 12, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home.  Billy Lillis will officiate.

A native of Winchester, VA, Cindy grew up in Albany, GA and attended Albany High School.  She was baptized at the old Thomas Memorial Baptist Church and was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.   She was a Victims Advocate for the Dougherty County District Attorney’s Office and served as a Project Manager for Advanced Environmental Technologies.  Cindy was a homemaker, a mother and her grandkids and family were her life and Music was a special enjoyment to her.  She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Lillis, Sr. and by a brother, Dennis Lillis, Jr. 

Survivors include her husband, Chris Collins of Albany, GA, her mother, Elaine Lillis of Albany, GA, two children, Brandi Watkins Norman and her husband, Tracy of Houston, TX and Zach Watkins and his wife, Megan of Lee County, GA, a brother, Billy Lillis and his wife, Karen of Albany, her sisters, Angel Wilbanks and  her husband, Mike of Lee County, GA and Cathy Lillis of Albany, GA, four grandchildren, Ava Norman, Berkeley Norman, Raegan Watkins and Reese Watkins and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
