Curtis R. Griffin

Curtis R. Griffin, 75, of Leary, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the Willson Hospice House.

His funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Gillionville Baptist Church with interment to follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Edison.  Rev. Chad Ellis and Rev. Heath Kahlbau will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday at Mathews Funeral Home.

A native of Baker County, Mr. Griffin lived most of his life in Leary.  He retired from Southern Ag Carriers (Griffin Truck Lines) after 35 years.  He was a veteran of the U. S Air Force serving during Vietnam.  He was a member of Gillionville Baptist Church and previously had been a member of Leary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.  

Survivors include his wife Patricia Ann Griffin, son Ray Griffin (Lori), daughter Angel Hill (Abel), grandchildren, Jordan Griffin, Madi Taylor, Owen Griffin, Jackson Hill, Bo Griffin, all of Leary, brother, J. W. Griffin, Tampa, FL and nephews Sean Griffin and Greg Griffin.
