Curtis Eugene Cross

Curtis E. Cross, 80, of Doerun, GA, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at his residence.

No formal funeral services will be held.  He will be interred at Andersonville National Cemetery at a later date. 

Born to the late Charlie and Lucille Cross, Curtis was raised in Baker County.  He joined the United States Air Force and served 25 years retiring as MSgt.  He then went on to work in civil service and retired from MCLB in Albany, GA. 

Curtis was preceded in death by his wife Deborah Ray Brown, a brother, Charlie Cross of Newton, Ga, a sister, Waiver Palmer of Newton, Ga, and a sister Bebe Johnson, of Newton, GA. 

Survivors include a son David Cross of Johns Creek, GA, a daughter Teresa Dostal of Doerun, GA, a grandson, Jonathon Jimerson of Jacksonville FL, a granddaughter, Jessica Jimerson Kastler of Jacksonville, FL, great grandchildren, sisters Laverne Paul of Dawson, GA, Marie Hughes of Newton, GA and Pat Weekly of Columbus, GA, a sister in law, Patricia Cross of Newton, GA and much extended family.
