Coy Allen Spurlin

Coy Allen Spurlin, 57, of Leesburg, GA, died Friday August 26, 2011 at his residence. A graveside funeral service will be held Monday August 29, 2011 at Crown Hill Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Rev. John Spencer and Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

A native and lifelong resident of Albany, GA before moving to Leesburg, GA, Mr. Spurlin was an electrical engineer and was employed with SCR-P&G. He was a graduate of Auburn University and a member of Sherwood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry A. Spurlin and Allene Ramson Spurlin.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Agnes Spurlin, Leesburg, GA, two sons, Michael K. Spurlin and his wife Karla, Leesburg, GA and Andrew Spurlin, Albany, GA, a brother, Jeff Spurlin, Albany, GA, a sister, Jo Granberry, Trenton, GA, a step-daughter, Mikka Webb, Sarasota, FL, a cousin, Fred Ramson, Albany, GA, a niece, Dr. Amelia Granberry, Trenton, GA and a nephew, Harrison Spurlin, Albany, GA.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
