Corinne Augusta Beverly Flanigan

Corinne Augusta Beverly Flanigan, 74, of Ellaville, GA (Schley Co.), died Saturday, June 17, 2017 at her residence. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church. Visitation for friends and family begins at 10:00 a.m. Rev. James Bullion will officiate.

Born in Douglas, GA, Mrs. Flanigan has resided in Albany, GA before moving to Ellaville, GA. She was a member and served as president of the Albany Garden Club, was president and owner of Flanigan Plumbing Company, real estate broker working with Albany Realty Co., Piney Woods Properties and Thompson Realty, served as the president of the Albany Chapter of the American Lung Association and she was a communicant of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church where she served as director of the altar guild and the building committee.

She achieved a hole in one on the sixteenth hole at Doublegate Country Club, was an avid artist and gardener, she actively participated in the life of her children and grandchildren and attended all of their events as they grew up.

She was married to her best friend for fifty five years and was the world's best grandmother and wife.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Walton Flanigan, Ellaville, GA, two daughters, Beverly Flanigan Burt (Pace) and Lila Flanigan Swords (Wayne) all of Albany, GA, a sister, Nannette Beverly Isenhour, Tallahassee, FL, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
