Clemmie Mae Fedd (Toson) McClain

Clemmie Mae Fedd (Toson) McClain, the oldest daughter of the late Henry and Hurley Fedd, was born on July 15, 1952 in Donaldsonville, Georgia. She was one of 10 children born to her parents. She was proceeded in death by siblings, Theresa Fedd and Alfonzo Fedd.

After a long and courageous 4-year battle with systemic scleroderma, all of her pain and suffering ended on September 5, 2015.

Clemmie grew up in Donaldsonville, Georgia. She attended Seminole County High School and in 1971 graduated from Monroe High School in Albany, Georgia. She was employed by the Dougherty County School System for more than 20 years.

In 1969, she married the late Richard Toson, Sr. and in this union, her three oldest children were born. Then in 1974, she married her loving husband Wiley McClain, Jr. Two children were born in this union.

In April 1975, Clemmie became a baptized Jehovah's Witness and remained a devoted and faithful believer.

Clemmie leaves a lifetime of memories that will be cherished by her loving husband, Wiley McClain, Jr., two sons, Richard Toson of Charlotte, NC and Sherwin McClain of Albany, GA; three daughters, Richshonda Murray (Arthur) of Stone Mountain, GA, Angelita Hammond (Jimmy) of Stone Mountain, GA, and Wilena McClain of Albany, GA; six brothers Willie (Hyon) Fedd, and Joe Fedd both of Albany, GA; Leroy (Viola) Fedd of Buena Vista, GA; Alonza Fedd, Alfred Fedd, and Frank Fedd all of Donaldsonville, GA; one loving sister, Anna (Elbert) Boston of Douglasville, GA; five grandchildren, LaKendre' Toson, Bryce Hammond, Bryan Hammond, Raven Hammond, and Aiyla Clark; one great-grand, Kaleb Toson; a host of nieces and nephews, along with countless special friends and family who were blessed to have known her.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 12 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, at 400 S Westover Blvd, Albany, GA. The repast will follow at the Monroe High School Cafeteria, 900 Lippitt Drive, Albany, GA.
