Claude Allen Rome

Claude A. Rome, 86, of Albany, GA, died September 13, 2021 at Montezuma Health Care. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11:00 am Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Ross Powell will officiate.

Mr. Rome was born on January 8, 1935 in New Orleans, LA. He lived in Albany, GA most his adult life and was employed with LRA Constructors for forty five years. He was an outdoorsman and loved deer hunting, hog hunting, fishing and frog gigging. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Rome.

Survivors include his daughters, Meloney Morris (David Haynes) of Albany, GA, Linda (Earl) Talbott of Parkersburg, W. VA, his grandchildren, Nathan Watson of Albany, GA and Trent Morris of Worth County, GA and his great-grandchildren, Zeke Watson and Harliegh Watson both of Albany, GA and a sister, Hazel Jean (Richard) Stype of Floral City, FL.
