Christopher Carl Stanich

Dr. Christopher Carl Stanich, 54, of Albany, GA., died Tuesday, February 25, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Bobby McKinney and Dr. Ted Ary will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Raised in Brownsburg, IN., Chris served four years in the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged he and his family resided in Zip City AL., where he worked for the Church of Christ and sang in a quartet. Upon graduation from Pennsylvania College of Podiatry Medicine he moved to Albany, GA in 1998 to practice medicine.

Survivors include two sons Christopher and Joshua, one grandson Carter Alan Stanich, and two sisters Janet Black and Susan Berry.
