Christina Olivarez Price

Christina Olivarez Price, 80, of Leesburg, GA passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Willson Hospice. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Harry Stevenson and Mr. Gene Snipes will officiate.

Born in Kingsville, TX, Mrs. Price moved to Albany, GA fifty nine years ago from Kingsville, TX. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents, Julio Oilvarez and Andrea Guzman Olivarez, her husband, Richard Maurice Price Jr and a daughter, Cynthia Price Nelms.

Mrs. Price loved Jesus Christ, her grandchildren and family. She loved to quilt, write poems, listening to gospel music and Elvis.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Price and his wife Tara of Leesburg, GA, three daughters, Carol Cannon and her husband Rodney, Cheryl Stevenson and her husband David all of Lee Co., GA, Christina Hayes and her husband Tommy, Fleming Island, FL, four brothers, Mike, Joe, Pete, and Lupe Olivarez and a sister, Mary Ortegon all of Kingsville, TX, eleven grandchildren, Jason Shelley, Ryan Cannon, Anthony Stevenson, David Stevenson, Jr., Jeremy Stevenson, Matthew Stevenson, Zachary Hayes, Jordan Price, Kyle Price, Colton Price, Austin Price, and two great-grandchildren, Taylor Shelley and Thomas Stevenson.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
