Christa Michelle Thrower

Christa Michelle Thrower of Albany, GA, died Saturday, September 30, 2023 at her residence. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.

Born in Waycross, GA. Christa graduated from Waycross High School in 1990. She was employed with the Medical College of Georgia and Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital where she worked as a clerkship program coordinator and served in other positions as well. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling to see her family, no matter how far away they may have been. She was the baby of the family, but was the rock to her family and was always there for all of them. She was preceded in death by an uncle, J.D. Thrower, an aunt Ginger Zimmer, a nephew Kyle William Mock and a great niece Harleigh Lane Thrower.

Survivors include her father Richard Thrower, her mother Betty Ruth Herdman (Vaughn), her brother, Paul Thrower (Brittany), her sister Melanie Thrower Mock, her half-brother Michael Underwood, two nephews, Kristopher William Mock and Jacob Nelson Thrower (Alexis), two nieces, Molly Grace Thrower and Brooklin Rose Thompson, three great-nephews, Connor Edwards, Cason Smith and Anakin Mock, a great niece Harley Mock, an uncle Gary Zimmer and numerous more aunts, uncles and cousins.
