Chester Alvin Smith, Jr

Chester Alvin Smith, Jr, 67, of Leesburg, GA, died October 14, 2015 at his residence. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 2:00 PM at The Commons Church, 3014 Sylvester Road in Albany, GA.

A native of Atlanta, GA, Mr. Smith attended Auburn University before being drafted into the United States Army. He had been a resident of Leesburg for the last twelve years. He was President of Heavens Saints Ministry.

Survivors include his wife Nancy Cooper Smith, a son, David Smith of Leesburg, GA, daughter Carrie (Rich) Barta of San Antonio, TX, and a brother, Darrell Smith of Jonesboro, GA. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Chester Alvin Smith, Sr. and Betty Fay Davenport Smith.
