Charlotte Mayo Willliams

Charlotte Mayo Williams, 69, of Albany, GA formerly of Wrightsville, GA, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at East Albany Church of God. Pastor Josh Toomey will officiate. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at West View Cemetery, Wrightsville, GA.

Born in Gulf Port, MS, Mrs. Williams had resided in Albany, GA for the past forty five years moving from Wrightsville, GA. She was a homemaker and a member of East Albany Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Carson Mayo and Polly Caneega Mayo.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest A. Williams, a son, Eric Williams (Amy), Leesburg, GA, two daughters, April Apperson, Leesburg, GA and Sandy Williams, Albany, GA, two brothers, William Mayo (Jane), Savannah, GA, Gene Mayo (Judy), Danville, GA, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
