Charles F. Reynolds, Sr

Charles F. Reynolds, Sr., 84, of Albany, GA, died August 7, 2016 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Beacon Baptist Church. Rev. Jim Eubanks will officiate. Interment will follow in Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery in Mitchell County, GA.

A native of Baxley, GA, Mr. Reynolds graduated from Baxley High School and joined the United States Air Force. He served his country for twenty one years and after retiring in 1969 he moved to Albany, GA. He was employed with Moore-Handley, Inc. for many years and retired as Contractor Sales Manager from Leeds Building Products. He was a member of Beacon Baptist Church, the American Legion Post # 30, the Benovolent and Protective Order of the Elks # 713 and the Home Builders Association.

Survivors include his wife, Emogene Reynolds of Albany, GA, a daughter, Sandie Jones and her husband, Danny of Camilla, GA, two sons and their wives, Jimmy and Kay Reynolds of Sylvester, GA and Gene and Jerri Reynolds of Albany, GA, twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Beacon Baptist Church.
