Charles Franklin Ledford, Sr

Charles Franklin (Frank) Ledford, Sr., 84, of Albany, GA died Friday, January 17, 2014 at Palmyra Nursing Home. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Suggs will officiate.

Mr. Ledford was born in Rochelle, GA and moved to Albany, GA sixty one years ago. He was retired from Nation Linen Service as their customer service supervisor. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1285 and a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors include, his wife of sixty six years, Frances Louise (Sister) Parker Ledford of Albany, GA, a daughter, Kitty Ledford Holt of Cape Coral, FL, three sons, Gordon Clifford (Bubba) Ledford and his wife Carol and Charles Franklin (Chuck) Ledford, Jr. and his wife Amy all of Albany, GA, Lewis Ledford and his wife Julie of Panama City Beach, FL., five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 20, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
