Charles Lee Godwin

Charles Lee Godwin, 65 of Albany died Monday, April 17, 2017 at his residence.

His funeral service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Mathews Funeral Home. Interment will be Thursday 3 p.m. at Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery in Muscadine, AL.

A native of Haralson County, Mr. Godwin had lived in Albany since 1994. He loved working with wood and country music. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Betty Thompson Godwin.

Survivors include his sister, Vickie Crews, Tallapoosa, GA, niece Tammy Windom (Mark), Tallapoosa, GA, nephews, Greg Crews (Carla), Roanoke, VA, Gary Crews (Patsy), Bremen, GA, Chad Crews (Jennifer) Bremen, GA, numerous great nieces and nephews, caregivers GiGi and Mindy and everyone at ARC.

The family will receive friends Wednesday 2 to 3 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
