Charles Lee Funderburke

Charles L. Funderburke, Jr., 76, of Morgan, GA died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Miller County Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, April 18, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Morgan Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Chris Holdorf will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. There will be a funeral precession to the graveside.

A native of Talbotton, GA Mr. Funderburke served in the United States Army and had resided in Morgan, GA for the past twenty nine years moving from Springvale, GA. He was formally employed with Georgia Power Company and was the owner and operator of C&P Trucking Company for many years and was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred A. Funderburke of Morgan, GA, four sons, Jeff Funderburke and his wife, Sheryl of Morgan, GA, Chuck Funderburke and his wife, Tammy of Eufaula, GA, Lee Funderburke of Morgan, GA and Dusty Avera and his wife, Christy of Morgan, GA, his grandchildren, Preston Funderburke and his wife, Carrie of Lumpkin, GA, Michelle Flowers of Albany, GA, Clayton Avera, Abby Avera, Kaylee Wilson all of Morgan, GA and Trey Wilson of Cuthbert, GA and two great-grandchildren, Gabriella Santos of Albany, GA and Ansley Funderburke of Lumpkin, GA.
