Charles Thomas Daniel

Charles Thomas “Tommy“ Daniel, 77, of Albany died on October 30, 2024, at Lee County Health & Rehab after a long illness. No service will be held at this time. 

Mr. Daniel was born in Tifton, GA to the late Melvin Eugene Daniel, Sr. and Ruby Kirby Daniel. He was raised in Albany and he graduated from Albany High School in 1965. Mr. Daniel attended Georgia Southwestern University and graduated with a degree in Accounting. He was employed as an accountant with Draffin &Tucker, CPA's for many years and later became Controller with Ayers Corporation. He later moved to Atlanta, GA, as a contract accountant. After his mother became ill, he moved back to Albany to care for her and was employed as an accountant with Ayres Corporation where he later retired.

Mr. Daniel enjoyed meeting up with friends at Brookwood Grill in Roswell, Georgia, fishing, working in the yard and spending time with his family. 

Survivors include his son, Chad Thomas Daniel (wife Erin) of Indiana and a brother, Melvin (Dan) Eugene Daniel, Jr. (wife Cheryl) of Idaho and numerous nephews, cousins and a niece.
