Charlene Frye McIntyre

Charlene Frye McIntyre 90, of Albany, GA died Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Sherwood Baptist Church. Rev. Tom Pollock and Mr. Ross Powell will officiate. Interment will be graveside services Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in LaFayette Memory Gardens, LaFayette, GA. Rev. Randy Avans will officiate.

Born in LaFayette, GA, Mrs. McIntyre had resided in Albany, GA for the past forty years. She was a former caregiver at the Land of Oz  Day Care Center with her daughter Deborah Dorminey. She was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church and the Agape/Friendship Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde Frye and James Daniel McIntyre, Jr., a son, Ronald Clyde, a daughter, Deborah Dorminey, brothers, Ken Putnam, Jim Putnam and sisters, Hazel Cox and Norma Russell.

Survivors include her two sons, Jerry Frye (Pep), Homestead, FL and Tony Frye (Denise), Birmingham, AL, a son-in-law, Irvin Dorminey, Leesburg, GA, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Sherwood Baptist Church in the church atrium.
