Cecilia Ann Rentz

Cecilia Ann Maples Rentz, 65, of Leesburg, GA., died Friday, September 22, 2017 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Chancellor and Mr. Donnie Phillips will officiate. Interment will follow at Notchaway Baptist Church Cemetery, Baker Co., GA.

Born in Thomasville, GA, Mrs. Rentz had resided in Albany, GA since 1963 and moved to Leesburg, GA in 1995. She was a former manager of Big Lots Retail Store and Goodwill Industries Store before her illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert James Maples and Agnes Marie Casey Maples and a brother, Bobby Maples. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald (Pete) Rentz, Leesburg, GA, a son, Stacy Ethridge, Leesburg, GA, two daughters, Sherina Ethridge Courson (Chris), Lee Co., GA, Kimberly Ethridge, Wilmington, NC, two brothers, Joe Maples (Brenda), Leary, GA, Ronnie Maples, Albany, GA, two sisters, Mary Jane Spillard (Jackie), Willacoochee, GA, Helen Cleveland, Nashville, GA, seven grandchildren, Brady Jones, Alexis Tucker, Landon Spradley, Kayleigh Jones, Bryce Courson, Kendell Ethridge and Camdyn Courson.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
