Catherine Betty Rawle

Catherine Betty Rawle, 91, of Albany, GA, died May 1, 2013 at Lee County Health and Rehabilitation Center. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Charlie Brown and Dr. William E. (Butch) Knight will officiate.
A native of Hilltop, AZ, Mrs. Rawle was born to the late William and Louise Forbes Rawle on September 12, 1921 at a copper mine settlement. She attended Florida State University and graduated from the University of South Carolina.
Mrs. Rawle taught high school in Charleston, SC for thirty three years and moved to Albany, GA in 1998 from Jacksonville, FL. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Albany, GA.
Survivors include two nephews and their wives, William H. and Gail Morrell of Albany, GA and John E. and Terri Morrell of Jacksonville, FL, two great nieces, Debra Morrell of Savannah, GA and Erin Morrell of Atlanta, GA and a great-nephew, Paul Bryan Morrell and his wife, Lianne of Jacksonville, FL.
The family is at the residence of William and Gail Morrell, 710 Summit Drive, Albany, GA, 31707.
