Cart Hudson

Cart Hudson, 61, of Leesburg, GA, died Tuesday December 28, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday December 31, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Marvin McDaniel will officiate. Interment will follow in Live Oak Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born in Colquitt, GA., Mr. Hudson lived in Baker County, GA until he moved to Leesburg, GA where he has lived for the past twenty five years. He was employed with the Lee County Board of Education until his illness. He was a member of Live Oak Free Will Baptist Church in Baker Co., GA. Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Louise Collins Hudson and a brother, Carl Hudson.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Hudson, Leesburg, GA, a son, Carter Hudson (Sharon), Leesburg, GA, a daughter, Dawn Hudson, Albany, GA, two step-daughters, Kimberly Dockery (Mark) and Jessica Trotman both of Leesburg, GA, two sisters, Reba Boyer (John), Arlington, GA, Vada Jacobs (Sandy), Lee Co., GA, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
