Carrie Lynn Brooks

Carrie Lynn Brooks, 43, of Albany, GA passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 13, 2016. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Albany. Dr. William E. (Butch) Knight will officiate. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Carrie was born in Livonia, MI and grew up in Albany, GA, graduating from Monroe High School and attended Albany Technical College. She worked as a manager for Linen's For Less and attended the First Baptist Church of Albany.
Carrie was extremely devoted to her family. She enjoyed an occasional motorcycle ride with her husband and occasional beach visits also served for relaxation that included family. Carrie was a loving, devoted wife and mother who loved her family and her animals. She enjoyed making people laugh and always had positive thoughts to share with anybody.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Brooks of Albany, GA, a daughter, Haley Anne Brown (Eric) of Hampton, GA, a son, Brandon Chase Sartain of Albany, GA, her mother, Judy Rose Cook (Ernie), of Leary, GA, a brother, Alex J. Roggenbuch of Jacksonville, FL, and his children, LeighAnn, Lexy and Lizzy, a sister, Carla M. Frey of Leesburg, GA, and her children, Jamie Aldridge (Tyler) and Sydney Frey, her father and mother in law Bob Brooks (LaVerne), her two brother in laws and their wives, Robert Brooks, Jr. (Maryanne) and their children, Ally, Nicholas and Chase,; Michael Brooks (Frankie) and their children, Sophia, Dodge and Logan, her aunts and uncles Laura Gongla (Greg), Claudia Kenny (Kevin), Rosemarie Pasman (Keith), Melvin Rose (Mitzi), Bill Rose (Chris).
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
