As the hands of Carolyn Lea Pearson were held and kissed, her husband Jeff relinquished his duties as protector to He that would protect her for all of eternity. Her daughter Sarah continued to speak softly telling her I love you and reminding her of everyone that was in the room.
Carolyn Lea Pearson was born February 8, 1965 to Connie and Bill cash. She slipped quietly into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 18, 2015. She leaves on earth, her husband -- Jeff, Daughter --Sarah, Son -- Taylor, Brothers -- Earl and Stuart Cash, and Jody Howell, sisters - Margaret, Constance, Kathy, Lisa, Jeani, and Jani, eleven nephews, eight nieces, and one grandson.
Carolyn was in adulthood as she was in childhood. She was always loving, never sulky. She was gutsy, steadfast, and blessedly undramatic. She was a worrier of big and small things and had a knack for making you forget yours. She was gracious, generous, and quick to laugh. Carolyn was fiercely patriotic and able or not, would have stood on a front line if asked. She was childlike in her compassion for suffering of any kind.
Carolyn is loved by many, many people and will long be remembered as a true American, a good friend, a loving, devoted mother, and a loyal, adoring wife. We will miss you my Darling, until we meet again....
There will be an Open House Celebration of Life from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM Saturday, August 22nd at 186 Canal Street, Leesburg, GA 31763.
Instead of flowers, Carolyn requested donations be made to the Willson Hospice House through Albany Community Hospice 320 Foundation Lane, Albany, GA 31707
