Carolyn Floyd Jewell

Carolyn Floyd Jewell, 76, of Albany, GA, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Keith Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Born in Albany, GA, Mrs. Jewell had resided in Albany, GA all of her life except when she lived in Maryland and Florida. She was a secretary with Harper Motor Lines before retirement and was a member of the Titus II Sunday School Class and a member of Pine Bluff Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben Frank Floyd and Tommie Lou Lloyd Floyd.

Survivors include her husband, Luther W. Jewell and a son, Christopher Jewell both of Albany, GA.

The family will recieve friends Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home.
