Carolyn Louise Downs

Carolyn Louise Caulder Downs, 71, of Leesburg, GA, died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Paul and Rev. Chuck Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

Born in Albany, GA, Mrs. Downs moved to Leesburg, GA twenty years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Family Worship Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lamar Downs.

Survivors include her two sons, Tony L. Downs (Joyce) and Barry L. Down (Jessie) and a daughter Tammy Anglin all of Leesburg, GA, a brother, Lamar Caulder, Lakeland, FL, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
